Fantastic independent cafe with relaxing atmosphere, welcoming decor, comfy seating, super clean and tidy, friendly helpful staff serving absolutely delicious homemade food and drinks, with plenty of veggie and vegan options - and the best skin-on fries. The meaty breakfast here was home cooked and delicious. The rosti wow was perhaps the best riosti I’ve ever eaten. Crispy outside, rich buttery inside with a delightful addition of leeks. The sausages were local and the bacon cooked to perfection. The sauces seemed to be homemade. I’m going again tomorrow it’s that good.

Omg it was amazing the coleslaw is to die for everything is smashing 10/10 would recommend to anyone not too expensive everything is home made they have loads of options and the staff are astonishing as soon as I walked in they greeted me as kind as possible would definitely recommend. Flawless and animals are allowed.
Had the most gorgeous New Years Day lunch here today. It was our 1st time in Marsden so we kind of stumbled across Katie's and so pleased we did. The food was amazing, (roast beef in onion gravy on soft rolls and divine skin-on chips). Everyone was lovely and our dog was given love and some chicken. Happy customers all round. Will definitely be coming back!
arrived 2:15pm after hiking at Marsden moor and west nab. the staff were friendly. it has free wifi. the only disable toilet was clean. the large part of menu consist of vegetarian dishes. we ordered meaty big breakfast and big vegetarian breakfast. the vegetarian breakfasts were tasty. they were values for money especially tea for three.
I'm fairly new to being dairy free due to my child's allergies and haven't found it easy to find good vegan food. The food at Katie's homemade kitchen was amazing! I had a vegan omelette sandwich which was very good and a very generous portion, and the person I was with had a meaty meal which she also rated very highly. Difficult to find a place that does both well. There were toys/puzzles for my 2 year old to play with at the table whilst she waited for food, and Katie and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be visiting again!
